The nursery and 38 week belly picture
We finally finished the nursery last week, so everything is ready for the baby when he decides to get here. Zack and I are both really excited with how it turned out. The rocking chair came from Zack's mom- it's the same one she used to rock him. The chest of drawers was bought for Zack when he was born by his Nanny and Papaw Hardy. My mom and I used the crib bumper to make a valance and the wall hangings above the changing table. We also decided to use the quilt as a wall hanging above the crib. I think it is the perfect mix of new and old in there.

What a grand and beautiful nursery (and Grandaughter). You are so very blessed as are we. I so remember where our first born's nursery. Bed on the floor in our bedroom and her bath tub and our washing machine (for cloth diapers) were the same, our bathroom bathtub. We knew we were so blessed then and so much more now. Love you, Grandma & PA T.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Laura and Zack! The nursery is great and so much fun for me to see and imagine you in it. Thanks for sharing and you can be sure I'll be checking in.
ReplyDeleteThis blog stuff is new to me also. Aunt Sue forwarded the info to me and I am so glad to have a way to keep up with this exciting time in your life. The nursery looks wonderful! I remember how excited I was before Ryan was born. I would just sit in the rocking chair in the nursery and dream. Can't wait for the announcement that your baby has arrived! We are thinking of you and wishing you well! Love, Aunt Linda
