He's Here!
I just wanted to write a quick post to let you all know (if you haven't heard already) that Robert "Cameron" Hardy arrived Tuesday, July 28 at 3:21 p.m. My water broke at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning and the adventure began. Almost exactly 12 hours later, and after only about an hour of pushing, our little blessing was here. It truly was a miracle! Zack made it through the delivery with flying colors (didn't even get queasy!) and was so supportive- I couldn't have done it without him. I am feeling great, definitely still on some sort of natural high and I can't stop watching both Zack and Cameron sleeping so peacefully. I know many of you have been dying to know his name all this time and Zack and I are so glad to finally be able to divulge it. We chose the name Robert after Zack's papaw Hatmaker and Cameron after my Grandpa Thomson, both men that have made a huge impact in our lives and men who we hope Cameron will take after! I am hoping to get some pictures of our family added soon, so check back in the next day or two. Thank you all for your prayers and support. Cameron is so lucky to have each and every one of you in his life!

10 days to go...
Just a quick update since nothing special or exciting is going on...We now have 10 days until our due date. Everything is still going great. Physically, I feel pretty good aside from minor hip and back aches, but I'm sure it could be much worse, so no complaints here! I didn't think it would be this hard to be patiently waiting on our little guy to decide he's ready, but I'm hanging in there. Our next doctor's appointment is on Monday, so maybe we'll get some news then. We did schedule an induction in case he waits too long to make his appearance, so if he doesn't decide to come sooner, our baby's birthday will be August 7 which means no more than 15 days until he gets here. I think I can handle 15 days...

The nursery and 38 week belly picture
We finally finished the nursery last week, so everything is ready for the baby when he decides to get here. Zack and I are both really excited with how it turned out. The rocking chair came from Zack's mom- it's the same one she used to rock him. The chest of drawers was bought for Zack when he was born by his Nanny and Papaw Hardy. My mom and I used the crib bumper to make a valance and the wall hangings above the changing table. We also decided to use the quilt as a wall hanging above the crib. I think it is the perfect mix of new and old in there.
